Description

We are in need of volunteers, 16 years of age and up, who can teach classes and lead activity groups at our Center for Women & Children. Activity groups may include the following: Knitting, Quilting, Arts/Crafts, Jewelry Making, Karaoke, Self-Care (Nail Painting, Face Masks) etc. Volunteers will be working independently with women ages 18+ who are in the process of detoxification and will be required to complete a Utah Department of Human Services Office of Licensing background screening, record two sets of fingerprints, and pay a fee of $38.25 to cover the processing prior to direct client work. Volunteers will lead a 1 hour long group on a weekly basis. The following time slots are currently available: Tuesdays 3:30PM-4:30PM, Thursdays 2:00PM-3:00PM
