Fill the Pack Donations

Fill the Pack

Fill the Pack initiative is an annual campaign aimed at supplying essential and vital items to support individuals experiencing homelessness.

Join us this holiday season to help us collect 300+ backpacks that goes directly to providing essential items to our homeless clients throughout the year. We are collecting new backpacks, basic need items, and fun holiday gifts. Let your holiday giving mean more to you and your family by providing necessary and critical items to our community members experiencing homelessness

For many clients, it will be the only gift they will receive this winter. Thank you for being a part of this impactful initiative. For a full list of potential items to Fill the Pack please see our Amazon wish list.

History: Fill the Pack originated with Martha Crook, a former board member of Volunteers of America Utah, and has steadily expanded for more than a decade. The inception of the "Fill the Pack" program was fueled by a desire to offer backpacks filled with essential items and a festive surprise to homeless youth in our community. Over time, this initiative has evolved to extend its support to our Center for Women and Children, as well as the Men's Detox Center. Today, Fill the Pack continues to provide assistance and holiday joy across our various programs.
