Kathy Bray honored as ABC4's "Remarkable woman" award recipient

Kathy Bray has been named this year's official Remarkable Women honoree by ABC4. Volunteers of America, Utah's president and CEO was recognized Wednesday morning on Good Things Utah. 

Throughout Women's History Month, ABC4 honored four women who were nominated for their service and positive impact on Utah communities. Bray has been instrumental in VOA Utah's growth for over twenty years, working with people who are homeless, struggling with mental health issues, and experiencing substance addiction. 

Bray said the recognition was a true honor and accepted a donation of $1,000 to VOA Utah from ABC4 and Nexstar Media.
