What Is Get Connected?

We have a new volunteer sign up process! Get Connected is the place you'll find upcoming opportunities, sign up to volunteer, track your hours, and more! 

You can still visit voaut.org/volunteer to find your preferred volunteer opportunities, but you'll be sent to Get Connected to sign up for your shifts. 


How To Sign Up For An Account

Visit voaut.galaxydigital.com to create an account for free.

You'll be required to sign our volunteer and donation waivers. Read them carefully! This may be more easily done on a laptop computer.

When your registration is complete, you're ready to sign up for volunteer opportunities!

How To Sign Up For A Volunteer Opportunity

You can find all opportunities here at voaut.org/volunteer, or you can go directly to our Get Connected website.

You can browse all the VOA Utah opportunities in a complete list HERE:

You can also check opportunities according to what program they're in, whether the Youth Resource Center, Women's Resource Center, or Recovery on Redwood, HERE:

Select your preferred shift. You'll be able to sign up as an individual or a team. You can build your own team and invite fellow team members to join Get Connected. (For more information on teams, go here.)

You can track the shifts you've signed up for, your volunteer hours, and more, on your Dashboard:

7. You can unregister from a shift on your dashboard as well. We ask volunteers to give 48 hours notice when cancelling except for emergency cases:

How To Get The Mobile App

The Get Connected app is called "CauseConnect." Available for iPhone here or Android/Google Play here. Features:

  • Search & sign-up for your favorite volunteer opportunities
  • Check-in and out of your volunteer shifts
  • Make sure all of your hours are tracked automatically!
  • ...and more!
