Men's Detox Is Now at Recovery on Redwood
We are pleased to announce that VOA Utah’s detoxification program for men has relocated to our new expanded facility, Recovery on Redwood, at 1875 South Redwood Road in Salt Lake City. [Google Maps]

THE PLAN
Beginning June 30, intakes at the current facility on Brooklyn Avenue will be paused in order to keep the number of clients low during our move. We plan to move current clients to the new facility beginning July 25. Detox services will no longer be available at the Brooklyn Avenue facility after July 24. We plan to resume intakes at the new facility during the week of July 31.
We will keep you updated about any changes to our services throughout this process. Thank you for your unwavering support and partnership!

• July 25: We begin moving current clients to the new facility. Detox services will no longer be available at the Brooklyn Avenue facility.
• Week of July 31: We plan to begin admitting new clients again at the new facility.

What is the new address?

When will the relocation take place?
Clients will move to the new facility on July 25.
Why is the detox center relocating?
Recovery on Redwood additional beds in a newly renovated space. Clients will have greater access to wrap-around services because the therapists at VOA Utah's Cornerstone Counseling Center will be housed in the same building.
Will services be suspended during the relocation?
Intakes services will be paused from June 30 to the week of July 31. Current clients who have already been admitted will continue to receive services, and will be transferred by VOA Utah to the new facility.
Will the new facility have improved amenities or features?
The new facility is a fully remodeled building with expanded dorm rooms, new kitchen and dining spaces, and new bathrooms and showers. Counseling services will be located in the same building, providing more seamless access to behavioral health treatment for clients.
Will there be any other changes in the services provided?
No.
Will there be any changes in pricing or payment methods?
No.
Will the new location be easily accessible by public transportation?
Yes. Recovery on Redwood is located on UTA bus routes 217 and 509.
