Candy Cane Corner is back for 2020!Candy Cane Corner is a partnership between The Road Home and Volunteers of America, UT. This holiday store is a great way to help make the season bright for the families our two agencies serve by providing them with a meaningful and empowering holiday shopping experience.
We may still be experiencing the Covid-19 pandemic, but Candy Cane Corner, a yearly holiday partnership between The Road Home and Volunteers of America, Utah, will be open this year! This seasonal store provides the families our agencies serve with the opportunity to have a merry and bright holiday celebration with gifts for our clients and their families.
Candy Cane Corner helps families in need have a happy holiday experience by providing them with new gifts. This year, volunteers will be shopping for client’s families based on a voucher filled out by clients and their caseworkers in order to follow social distancing guidelines. Everyone will be required to have their temperature checked before entering the shop, sanitizing upon entering and exiting is strongly encouraged, and wearing masks and gloves in accordance with CDC and local health department guidelines is required while at Candy Cane Corner. As always, our highest priority is the safety of our clients, volunteers, and staff.
Help us celebrate this magical time of year and give back to your community. We ask that you take a look at our Top Needs List to find the items we need to make this unique year’s Candy Cane Corner program a success. Read our Top Needs list here.
