Homeless Youth Resource Center
Fill the Pack was created by our volunteer and board member, Martha Crook. She got the idea of providing holiday backpacks for homeless youth during Christmas back in 2010. Her vivacious and energetic teenage son, David, unexpectedly passed away. Martha came to our Homeless Youth Resource Center to donate David's clothes and was touched by youth that were ecstatic and grateful. From there, Martha knew her son was still with her and was giving her strength and the ability to move on. Fill the Pack is now an annual holiday drive that provides much needed support for youth and promotes the spirit of giving! Opportunities: Sponsorship, Donate, Volunteer

Volunteers of America was founded in 1896 by social reformers Ballington and Maud Booth. They envisioned a movement dedicated to “reaching and uplifting” the American people. On behalf of the organization, the Booths pledged to “go wherever we are needed, and do whatever comes to hand.” Each year we celebrate our history, our progress and recent successes and share who we are. This fundraising event is a great introduction to our agency and showcases our amazing clients. Opportunities: Event Sponsorship, Table Captain, Attend, Donate
