Housing and Benefits Assistance
Think about a time that you accessed or attempted to access services in your community. Was it difficult to obtain the information that you were seeking? Were your questions answered in a timely manner? Did you get what you needed? These are all challenges that we face when navigating the process of meeting our own needs.
Often, the people served by Volunteers of America, Utah need some extra support and assistance in navigating through applications, finding documents and learning to manage in a new environment. As a result, we have found it extremely beneficial to offer assistance in finding and securing necessary services. Individuals referred to the Housing and Benefits Coordinator receive assistance in accessing mainstream benefits and permanent housing.
