Youth Treatment Services
Volunteers of America, Utah’s Youth Treatment team at Cornerstone Counseling Center have provided research-based, gender specific, youth treatment designed for youth between the ages of thirteen and twenty for over 40 years. Licensed, professional therapists provide assessment services, individual, group and family treatment as well as having and onsite APRN to provide psychotropic medication assessment and management. Since many adolescent clients present with co-occurring substance abuse and psychiatric disorders, such as depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress and attention deficit hyperactivity disorders, Volunteers of America, Utah's licensed therapists are well experienced in working with a wide variety of dually-diagnosed youth.
Levels of treatment interventions range from one to eight hours of treatment services per week and are tailored to fit the needs of the client.
