Children's Care Center

Due to the limited resources available to our clients, on-site child care is important to the goal of providing successful intervention and treatment. Research has shown that a lack of child care is a primary barrier to clients, mostly women, entering and remaining in substance abuse or domestic violence treatment.

For this reason, a free on-site Children’s Care Center was opened in 1995. The Children’s Care Center is available during daytime and evening hours to accommodate the treatment schedule of parents. Since initiating child care the Center has seen a significant increase in treatment follow-through and attendance.
