Annual Founders' Day Breakfast

Every year we celebrate the positive changes those we serve have made.  This year we will celebrate the ripples of change at our annual Founders' Day Breakfast on Thursday, March 11th from 8:00-9:00 AM at the Little America Hotel.

You can help by becoming a Table Captain for the breakfast.  Table Captains agree to fill a table with 10 people (including you).  The breakfast is free.  Guests will hear from successful former clients and feel the power of positive change.  Start the ripples of change in your own life and community by becoming a Table Captain for this special event.

To become a Table Captain e-mail Michelle.templin@voaut.org or call 801-363-9414 ext. 104.

As the weather turns cold we grow more concerned about the homeless individuals we serve. Many people are still camping and sleeping outdoors.  Our Homeless Outreach team and Street Outreach team (outreach for homeless youth) encourage people to go to a local shelter. However, for a variety of reasons many people will not go to a shelter.

Please think of these people as you go through your holiday checklists.  Our greatest need is financial contributions.  We also have some in kind item needs. Below are a few items we need to help support our Homeless Division and Residential Detoxification programs:

Coats (new or gently used)
Backpacks (new or gently used)
Thermal Underwear
New Socks
New Underwear
Gift Cards ($5 and $10 for fast food or grocery stores)

You can also make a financial contribution by clicking here.

Items can be dropped off at our Administrative Offices - 511 West 200 South in Salt Lake City, UT 84101 (Suite 160 in the southwest corner of the building).  Monday-Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm.
